At Più Libri Più Liberi last year the keyword was “Concentration” while this year is “Fair” for many reasons: this is the 15th edition of #plpl which is going to move to a new location next year and will have to reinvent itself; because on April 2017 there will be in Milan “Tempo di libri. Fiera dell’editoria italiana” that highlights publishers’ industrial nature and the need of books’ promotion; because fairs attract people and exhibitions are an occasion to improve the industrial sector; because an industrial sector cannot improve without a fair that provides training and update occasions to publishers. The ALDUS project offers the occasion to go over the controversy “Milan / Turin” to compare different ways of organizing fairs in Europe.
