Dörthe Fröhlich is a research assistant at the Gutenberg Institute for World Literature and Written Media at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. During her master’s degree in Book Studies, she gained insights into the publishing industry working for various publishing houses and associations. As part of the EU project Aldus Up, she is dedicated to reading research in a European context. Her research focuses on reading statistics as well as reading promotion.
