I've been working in education management for the last 10 years. I like to design, develop and implement new projects, in order to solve educational problems.
While in Portugal, I lead a team for the improvement of students' achievement in literacy, involving teachers training, curricula revision and teaching resources. I'm now the managing director of Camões Institute in the UK. I have a network of 3500 students and I work with 80 schools in the UK.
I'm the successful lead proposer of Anglo-Portuguese School of London, a Free School recently approved by the DfE.
I believe every child has the right to the best quality education possible. That's why I've been working in international settings, with governments, researchers and other educational agents, to find solutions suitable to different educational contexts.
