Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (French Language)

The Promotion des Lettres of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles forms part of the Literature and Books Department. Initiatives are carried out to encourage the creation, publication and spread of French-language Belgian literature, guided by a Literature Committee, and to support operators within the book industry, under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Book Council.

Flanders Literature

Flanders Literature opens a window on the dynamic and diverse literary landscape in the northern part of Belgium. It puts translators from Dutch in the spotlight and highlights the works of Flemish authors, illustrators, playwrights and comic book authors abroad. Flanders Literature supports the publication of translations and literary tours abroad by means of grants, that can be applied for by foreign publishers and festival organisers.
