The Publishing Scotland Translation Fund, launched in 2015, was set up to encourage foreign publishers to translate works by Scottish writers through subsidies to pay for translation expenses. The fund is administered by Publishing Scotland and financed by Creative Scotland (a public body supporting the arts and creative industries which distributes funds on behalf of the Scottish government).
