ALDUS CONSORTIUM
The Swedish Council for the Arts is responsible for carrying out cultural policies proposed by the Swedish government and parliament. It deals with the allocation of funding and the monitoring of cultural policies with the aim of promoting and increasing access to Swedish culture for both native citizens and foreigners.Since 2009 it has also handled support for translations of Swedish literary works of high quality, reserved for foreign publishers.
