Manol Peykov is a Managing Partner at Janet 45 Publishing, where he is responsible for publishing books in translation. The titles he published have received numerous awards, most notably the Krastan Dyankov Translation Award of EKF (multiple times) and the Hristo G. Danov Award for Best Translation (Neva Micheva, 2012) and Book Design (Lyuba Haleva, 2015).
During the last seven years he has organized more than 30 book tours with international authors, including Etgar Keret (Israel), Rawi Hage (Lebanon-Canada), Kader Abdolah (Iran-The Netherlands), Wendy Guerra (Cuba), Parinoush Saniee (Iran), Ray Kluun (The Netherlands), Juan Pablo Villalobos (Mexico-Spain), Rana Dasgupta (India-UK), Zeruya Shalev (Israel), David Albahari (Serbia-Canada), Milenko Jergovic (Bosnia-Croatia), Fabio Geda and Enayatollah Akbari (Italy-Afghanistan), Carlo Petrini (Italy), Leonardo Padura (Cuba).
In 2001 Manol published a CD album with songs, performed by him, entitled “With or Without”. He likes to translate poetry (The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by S. T. Coleridge, Plovdiv Award for Translation and nomination for the Hristo G. Danov Award, 2011; i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart) by e e cummings, Special Award of the Union of Bulgarian Translators, 2015).
